ELGi to showcase oil-free compressed air solutions at PACK EXPO Las Vegas

Charlotte, NC, September 5, 2023: ELGi North America (ELGi), a subsidiary of ELGi Equipments Limited, one of the world’s leading air compressor manufacturers, is returning to PACK EXPO Las Vegas, September 11-13, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. ELGi will display our ‘Always Better’ AB37V (50 HP) oil-free variable speed drive air compressor. The AB37V represents breakthrough technology improvements in terms of quality of compressed air, consistent performance over the product life cycle, lower operating temperature, reliability of compressor and operating cost, resulting in lower cost of ownership for packaging and processing operations. Compressed air is essential in the packaging and processing industries as it powers pneumatic systems and enables sealing and packaging processes. Moreover, air quality is critical when selecting a compressor for packaging operations. While many facilities use oil-lubricated compressors with a risk of oil contamination, the ELGi’s AB Series compressors consistently deliver 100% oil-free air, in compliance with the stringent norms of ISO 8573 -1 Class 0 and ISO 8573—7, eliminating contamination risks in packaging applications.

Efficient separation: Efficient air-water separation with its WSBIC (water separation by impact and centrifugal action) system

Pure water quality: ELGi machines maintain water quality with an inbuilt Sanitation Cycle and closed-loop water circuit, eliminating the need for a reverse osmosis system. This reduces power and maintenance costs and ensures pure water quality

Compact, air-cooled package: The cooling system, with fans and a larger cooling surface area, enhances the cooling of hot air. The fan motor uses significantly less power, and the integrated fan-motor assembly maintains a low temperature, thereby increasing the motor's lifespan.
