ELGi Quest Series expansion delivers greater efficiency and reliability for high-capacity applications

Charlotte, NC: ELGi North America (ELGi) has expanded its EQ ‘ELGI Quest’ Series of oil- lubricated, direct-drive rotary screw air compressors to include models with higher horsepower capabilities.

The EQ Series is now offered in 40 hp – 60 hp models to meet the higher-capacity needs of manufacturing, vehicle service stations, metalworking and woodworking applications. This completes the EQ range from 25 hp – 60 hp with both fixed and variable speed configurations.

By eliminating belts, this design ensures efficient energy transfer and optimal air flow. This design also reduces maintenance needs by removing components (such as belts, pulley), improving downtime and maintenance costs.

EQ series simplifies maintenance by providing easy access to components, decreasing downtime. And the long consumable life extends the minimum time between service to 4000 hours.
