When to use a compressed air dryer and why to use a refrigerated cycling dryer?

When compressed air cools down following a compression process, water vapour precipitates as condensation. This condensate must be removed from the compressed air system to prevent damage to downstream equipment.

AIRMATE FILTERS

The airmate filters from ELGi come with a unique feature – the Alocrom aluminum treatment. This treatment ensures no corrosion and no carryover of corroded particles into the airline, which may cause blockages in sophisticated parts.

The different types of air filter accessories offered by ELGi are:

Type PF (Particulate Filter)

The PF filter is a high efficiency, general-purpose filter for removing particles down to 1 micron, including coalesced liquid water and oil.

Type FF (Fine Filter)

The ELGi fine filter is a high-efficiency oil removal filter for removing particles down to 0.01 microns, including water and oil aerosols.

Type CF (Carbon Filter)

The Activated carbon filter from the ELGi air accessories range is suitable for removing oil vapor and hydrocarbon odor.
