These oil lubricated air compressors are reliable, demand low maintenance, and have a small footprint, making them suitable for industrial applications where size, efficiency, and cost matter. The EN series compressors are compact, silent and offer efficient air-oil separation by impact and deceleration action that involves three stages. These Oil lubricated air compressor also come equipped with a Neuron XT controller custom designed and engineered as an efficient control solution for encapsulated series that allows monitor and control the overall performance with easy-to-use service indications, malfunction alarms and safety shutdowns. Additionally, the highly efficient heavy duty TEFC/S1/IP55 motor in the EN series range is ideal for ambient temperatures up to 50°C. They also come with an in-built variable frequency drive (VFD) that helps in energy-saving by matching compressor output with demand by varying motor speed, reducing consumption in line with the demand and eliminating frequent load-unload cycle. The efficient air filtration and cooling system in the EN series help keep the system’s internal components clean, leading to longer life of consumables.

EG SERIES SCREW AIR COMPRESSOR

ELGi’s EG series screw air compressors are available in three models 11-75 KW, 90-160 KW, and 200-250 KW. Customers can choose the desired model for their application based on the power requirement for their machines. These air compressors are designed and manufactured for reliability and ease of maintenance according to applicable international standards (CE, ASME, UL, and others), offering high energy saving, reliability, and superior air quality. These new generation air compressors significantly reduce operating costs and provide cost savings with a faster return on investment. ELGi’s EG series range comes with a highly efficient in-house developed eta-V rotor that helps reduce pressure losses and offers increased efficiency. These compressors also come with efficient motors, an air-inlet system, and an intake valve system. The Oil Separation by Impact and Centrifugal action process offers oil-free air for sensitive applications. Additionally, the EG series range comes with a custom designed centrifugal type moisture separator with an automatic drain that removes over 99% of bulk water from the compressed air system, resulting in corrosion free, longer life of the end use equipment and less load on the dryer.

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF OIL-LUBRICATED AIR COMPRESSOR

The oil-lubricated air compressor works on the principle that when the impeller rotates, a piston in a cylinder is driven to reciprocate. The airflow into and out of an air compressor has three critical factors: pressure, volume, and velocity. Oil lubrication prevents wear on high-speed rotating parts at high temperatures to ensure maximum efficiency. The most common type of oil lubricated air compressor is the rotary screw air compressor.
