Industrial grade steel and powder coated canopy
Industrial grade steel and powder coated canopy are a standard fit for maximum corrosion protection and durability. The unique cool-box design from ELGi allows cool air to enter the rear of the compressor (in closed-door operation) and wash over internal components, keeping the internal temperature low and prolonging component life.
Robust trolley
Trolley air compressors from ELGi are stable even on bad roads. The compressor ensures safe towing as they are equipped with overrun brakes. ELGi also provides parking brakes as a standard feature in all models to ensure secure parking.
Compact build
Due to compactness, the compressor provides maximum manoeuvrability and allows short radius turns. The heavy-duty construction of the compressor also benefits the customer with high gradeability enabling wobble-free movement on slopes.
International warranty engines
International warranty engines power ELGi's line of diesel-powered screw air compressors. The air compressors are engineered to provide better fuel economy and reduce emissions in their class, providing the customers with a durable performance at a low cost of ownership.
Centralised control panel
The control panel has all the major instrument controls and monitoring systems. The operator can use the panel to check on the operating status using a combination of easy-to-use instruments and digital readouts. The digital panel also displays warning and shutdown messages if it detects abnormal conditions.
Variable capacity control
The 0-100% stepless variable capacity control decreases the fuel consumption and operating costs of the air compressor. End-use air consumption controls the opening and closing of the butterfly valve, thereby regulating inlet air suction and matching engine speed to air demand.
Aluminium oil coolers
Aluminium oil coolers are used for improved heat dissipation, even in a compact construction.
Two-stage air intake filter
The two-stage filtration system prevents dust from entering the air compressor and the engine. The air compressor is can hence be used in dusty conditions.
Wider access
The quick and easy access to the routine maintenance components allows a drastic reduction in service time. Elements like air filters and valves can easily be reached through service doors.
