ELGi Introduces Two New Ranges of Air Compressors at Underhåll 2022 in Gothenburg, Sweden

Showcasing compressed air solutions suited for the Manufacturing, Metal, Food & Beverage, and Pharma industries, ELGi will premiere the LD Series of reciprocating air compressors and a new range of oil-free air compressors from 11-22kw.

Waterloo, Belgium - 12 May, 2022: ELGi Compressors, a subsidiary of ELGi Equipments Limited, one of the world’s leading air compressor manufacturers, will present its comprehensive portfolio to address the compressed air requirements of the manufacturing, metal, food & beverage and pharmaceutical sectors at Underhåll from the 31st of May until the 3rd of June, in Gothenburg, Sweden, at stand No B04:52.

Underhåll will see the Nordic launch of the ELGi AB 11 – 22kW, the newest addition to the AB-Series range of oil-free screw air compressors. The units specifically address the compressed air requirements of the food and beverage, small pharmaceutical and dairy industry, as well as small electronics production houses, and laboratories where microbiological contaminant-free air compliant with stringent norms of ISO 8573-1 Class 0 and ISO 8573-7 is crucial. The AB Series compressors are manufactured in an ISO 22000 certified (Food Safety Management System – FSMS) production facility.

At Underhåll, ELGi will also launch the new LD Series 2.2 – 11kW lubricated direct drive range of reciprocating air compressors. The new LD Series is an innovation in piston air compressor technology. The LD Series air compressors come with a cast-iron direct-driven two-stage compressor mounted on an air receiver and equipped with a Star-Delta-Starter as a standard. The resulting benefit is a line of compressors that provide maximum reliability and durability for small to medium-sized industrial applications where higher expectations than intermittent compressed air use can be fulfilled.

Maintenance professionals and other visitors to the ELGi stand No B04:52 will also be able to see ELGi’s EG Series 11 – 250kW electric lubricated screw air compressors, which represent a giant leap in design and performance. With every single component designed for reliability and ease of maintenance, the units are ideally suited to address the compressed air needs of the metal, steel, and car manufacturing industries.
