ELGi introduces the ‘LD Series’ direct-drive reciprocating air compressors at BIEMH 2022, Bilbao, Spain

Exhibiting for the first time in Spain, ELGi will address the needs of the European manufacturing sectors by presenting a complete range of compressed air technologies, including the new LD Series of reciprocating air compressors.

Waterloo, Belgium – 12 May 2022: ELGi Compressors Europe, a subsidiary of ELGi Equipments Limited, one of the world’s leading air compressor manufacturers, will debut the LD Series, alongside its comprehensive portfolio tailored for use by small to large-scale industries including manufacturing, auto industry suppliers, OEMs, and food & beverage, at BIEMH from the 13th to the 17th of June, in Bilbao, Spain at stand No F-33 (Hall 6).

BIEMH will see the premiere of the new ELGi LD Series 2.2 – 11kW lubricated direct drive reciprocating air compressors. The new LD Series is an innovation in piston air compressor technology. The LD Series air compressors come with a cast-iron direct-driven two-stage compressor mounted on an air receiver and equipped with a Star-Delta-Starter as a standard. The resulting benefit is a line of compressors that provide maximum reliability and durability for small to medium-sized industrial applications where higher expectations than intermittent compressed air use can be fulfilled.

Visitors to the ELGi stand No F-33 (Hall 6) will also experience ELGi’s complete range of compressed air technologies and solutions from oil-lubricated and oil-free rotary screw air compressors to dryers, filters, and downstream accessories. Exhibiting for the first time in Spain, ELGi will feature the additional following products from its portfolio at BIEMH:

ELGi’s AB Series, from 11-110kW – including AB 11 – 22kW, the newest addition to the AB-Series range of oil-free water-injected screw air compressors, offering high air purity and significant gains in energy efficiency and sustainability, at a low total cost of ownership. A disruption in oil-free compressed air technology, this technology opens new possibilities for manufacturers requiring reliable, microbiological contaminants-free air compliant with stringent norms of ISO 8573-1 Class 0 and ISO 8573-7.
ELGi’s EG Series, from 11 – 250 kW - The electric lubricated screw air compressors represent a giant leap in design and performance, with every single component designed for reliability and ease of maintenance, backed up with an industry-leading warranty of up to 10 years*.
