Codelen modernises compressed air system with ELGi’s EG Series

The new ELGi EG Series oil-lubricated screw air compressor successfully delivers reliability and energy efficiency gains at the cardboard and microflute packaging production line in Spain.

Waterloo, Belgium, 10 January 2023: Codelen, a Spanish manufacturer of cardboard and microflute packaging, chose the EG Series EG37V from ELGi Compressors Europe to modernise the compressed air system at its plant in Elche, Spain.

Codelen was looking for a new compressed air solution to replace the aging equipment powering its production line of food-grade cardboard boxes. To find the right equipment that would deliver a reliable source of air and energy savings, Codelen reached out to Ilice Compressores SL, one of ELGi’s Channel Partners in Spain. Following thorough research of the advanced compressed air solutions available on the market and trusting in the advice of Ilice, Codelen selected an ELGi EG37V oil-lubricated screw air compressor with variable speed to meet their needs.

The sturdy design of the EG Series compressor range enables operations at extreme temperatures – from cold to hot and from dry to extremely humid conditions, leading to improved reliability of the compressed air system.
