Boerschappen chooses an ELGi EN Series oil- lubricated screw air compressor to support business growth

Waterloo, Belgium, 22 March 2022: ELGi Compressors Europe, a subsidiary of ELGi Equipments Limited, one of the world’s leading air compressor manufacturers, announced today that Boerschappen, an innovative, fair-trade food company in Breda, the Netherlands, selected an ELGi EN Series oil-lubricated screw air compressor for the packaging and boxing line in their newly expanded facility. Boerschappen provides over 10,000 customers with fresh, locally produced vegetables, fruits, meat, and fish directly from its network of 150 farmers.

Given the sensitive nature of food-related products, Boerschappen needed to enhance the speed of packaging fresh food while maintaining high safety and quality standards. After understanding Boerschappen’s production line and compressed air requirements, ELGi and distribution partner Techno Brabant suggested the EN Series screw air compressor as a reliable solution to meet Boerschappen’s growth plans.
