Compressed air is not pure. Compressed air contains contaminants that could cause damage to the end application. Some common contaminants of compressed air are water, dirt, small wear particles, bacteria, and sometimes even degraded lubricating oil. These impurities mix and often form an acidic sludge that can increase the wear and tear of end applications like pneumatic tools, machinery, valves orifices, and electro-pneumatic controls like relays. For increased reliability and energy savings, compressed air must be clean and dry.
ELGi offers a wide range of pneumatic accessories that ensure application-specific air quality norms are met per the ISO 8573 standards. The compressed air treatment downstream solutions & condensate management systems offered by ELGi are called AIRMATE, and energy conservation systems are classified as ELGi CONSERVE.
AF SERIES
COMPRESSED AIR FILTERS 0.59 – 183.35 m3/min
Why compressed air filters and downstream filters are critical?
The atmospheric air contains moisture, particle contaminants, microorganisms, and gases. When this air gets compressed, the concentration of such particles increases by 6-10 times (equal to the compression ratio). However, when this atmospheric air gets compressed by a compressor, other contaminants like oil and metal traces get added during the compression process. This is why it is essential to remove these contaminants from the compressed air before using it.
ELGi’s Airmate Filters (AF) are suitable for applications that require filtered air for reliable performance. The AF Series filters provide customers with best-in-class filtration and one of the lowest pressure drops.
AIR~ALERT
24/7 SMART MONITORING AND ALERT SYSTEM FOR ELGI AIR COMPRESSORS
Air~Alert is ELGi’s own IoT-enabling device that upgrades your compressors to Industry 4.0. Air~Alert allows users to track their air compressor’s performance 24/7, remotely, from anywhere in the world.
Air~Alert’s intelligent algorithm can also analyse the tracked data to provide valuable insights on energy efficiency and uptime. It can also send alerts for on-time service and predictively warn the user of any operational failure. This is an industry 4.0 technology that brings ultimate performance to your air compressors!
AR PREMIUM SERIES
ENERGY SAVING CYCLIC REFRIGERATION COMPRESSED AIR DRYERS 3.40 – 208.41 m3/min
When to use a compressed air dryer and why to use a refrigerated cyclic dryer?
When compressed air cools down following a compression process, water vapour precipitates as condensation. This condensate must be removed from the compressed air system to prevent damage to downstream equipment.
ELGi’s Airmate Refrigerated Premium (AR P) Series Energy-Saving Cyclic Dryer eliminates moisture and is an ideal compressed air accessory that can be used for a wide range of applications. ELGi AR Premium Series Dryers (AR P) provide the customer with the best overall value proposition with excellent performance & energy saving at lower loads. ELGi has AR P Series energy-saving cyclic refrigerated dryers ranging from 3.40 – 208.41 m3/min. It comes with an industry-leading warranty of 5 years*.

EOS OIL WATER SEPARATOR
For installations with an airflow of 2 – 70 m3/min
MEET ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS ON OIL RESIDUE DISCHARGE WITH EOS OIL WATER SEPARATOR
The process of compressing air using an oil-lubricated screw air compressor can result in the formation of condensate – a mix of water, oil, and dust particles. This condensate can harm the environment if not appropriately treated before being released into the environment. The disposal of this condensate can contaminate the groundwater. To avoid this pollution, treating the condensate before disposal into the sewage is recommended, and in some countries also mandated by law.
ELGi’s Oil Water Separator (EOS) Series removes oil in the condensate through a multi-level separation process with highly efficient fibre adsorbent and activated carbon, while only using gravitational force. This economical and efficient process helps remove the oil residue from the discharge and helps you stay compliant with local environmental regulations.
EZL SERIES
ZERO LOSS DRAIN VALVES 10 & 100 m3/min | 16 barg
The condensate formed in the production of compressed air gets collected in dryers, after-coolers, and air receivers. This condensate may cause rust or damage in the system, and hence it needs to be removed. ELGi’s EZL Drain Valves can be fitted in every part of the compressed air system where condensate is formed.
The ELGi Zero Loss (EZL) Drain Valve drains the condensate reliably and efficiently, as there is no compressed air leaking into the atmosphere.
HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM (HRS)
SAVE BOTH COSTS AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Suitable for EG Series (11-250 kW)
ELGi’s Heat Recovery System (HRS) enables customers to recover up to 78% of the heat generated during the process of air compression. This heat can be used to heat water, which can be useful in the production process or for domestic water usage.
By eliminating the need for additional equipment to heat water, CO2 emissions are reduced. The system is available for all EG Series units, from 11-250 kW. It is a plug-and-play system that can be fitted externally onto new or existing installations.
